Quick facts about the trip:

Date: 3 - 13 March 2012
Who can take part: Any one fit between the ages of 18-60.
Personal fund raising amount: A non refundable personal deposit of £300.
Fund raising: Minimum: There will be a minimum level of sponsorship required .
Charity: The Pole Sport Benevolent Fund - donating to Debbie Plowman.
Training: Hike as much as you can and join us on a few training days if you have the time.
Insurance: Required at a cost of approximately £70 from the tour operator.
Medical: Every one will be require to get a letter signed by their doctor.
Vaccinations: Consult your doctor.
Peak Climb: Kibo.
Mountain height: 19,340 ft - 5,895m.
Size: 60 miles x 40 miles - 100km x 65km.
location: Tanzania, near Kenyan boarder east Africa.
Volcanoes: Kibo, Mawenzi, Shira.
Ecosystems: Bushland, forest, Heath, Alpine, Artic.
Nearby Cities: Moshi, Arusha.
Nearby Airport: Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).

Who is on the Trip?:

	KT Coates - Pole instructor and fitness fanatic: She has been wanting to do some thing challenging for a long time now so this is right up her street. KT has run events over the last 6 years that have raised over £50,000 for charity, she hopes that this event will be the best yet by raising more than £30,000, but she is going to really miss Blossom and Malcolm as she has never been away from them that long.
